WELL This week was pretty interesting! but before that let me tell you what's going on around me first. I am sitting inside an FHE emailing and a man to my right is trying to do part of his family history, with the old large projectors and a spool of microfilm, and halfway through i couldn't stand sharing the computer so now i'm at a different one so that he has full control of it and i don't have to pause me typing out my email.
ANYWAYS last monday went without much hassle after emailing, just had a good pday and ate a good meal. We tried meeting with a few people but not much happened.
Tuesday we did a lot of texting and preparing for the rest of the week on.
Wednesday we went on splits with a member and took him out teaching with us. His name is Sam Ramos and he's a pretty funny guy. We get along quite well although he says we bring out imaturity in each other. XP We just have fun and joke is all.
Thursday Weekly PLANNING WEEEEE. PTTHHPTHS. Thursday was a dry hole because we planned from 10 to 5 with a lunch break inbetween.
FRIDAY thankfully was much more interesting. in the morning we had District meeting and that was eventful, good we talked about what we each plan to do in our areas and how we will achive those goals.(I'm no longer District Leader if i haven't already mentioned. YAAAY! aaah so refreshing.)
Saturday we helped the YSA clean the building and then we met with tons of people. We went to the hospital to also give a blessing to a member and keep her company for a little bit. thankfully her home teachers and another set of men from her ward were able to come over and bless her but she didn't mind having guests.
Sunday. the sabbath day. a quiet day for contemplation and peace. Sam Ramos showed a video for the lesson though that was pretty funny. it was from some show called gumballs World or life or something and it was all about procrastination. :P i enjoyed it although it stopped after a minute into it.
SO I would like to bear my testimony about Jesus. He is the Christ, the repurchaser, the savior, the lamb, the prince of peace, and so much more then i can even remember. He is our brother and he loves us, and as we turn to him in prayer, in study, and in our day to day lives, we become stronger and more blessed.
I would like to testify that forgiveness is a wonderful thing we can learn. I heard this sunday and wrote it down a quote that holds wisdom within it.
He that is first to forgive is the strongest.
He that is first to apologize is the bravest.
He that is first to forget is the happiest.
I have gained the last and the first well before the mission, but now i have learned to apologize as well. Truly in order to be happy we must forget and put behind us things that have happened between us and others. Thinking on that this is probably how i've been able to love all my companions with such equal hapiness and joy. all of my companions have been great and good men, with different things they have taught and helped me with.
I testify that We have a prophet on the earth and that he is a man inspired and directed by God, and that i have met others upon the mission who must have been godsent for the things they do. I believe that we have many in our lives we can help and show charity towards and as paul says, Charity is the best and most cherished virtue we can have.
In the name of jesus christ Amen.

:oD HOW is all of my favorite people doing!?
I look forward to reading your emails. You have grown into a great young man with a great testimony.
Thank you for writing about forgiveness and charity. We talk about both of them so much that many times that's all it is, TALK. We put conditions on forgiveness... I forgive her as long as she.... I forgive him but I hate him.... I forgive him but I can hardly wait till he dies.... These are some of the comments I have heard people say that are in the church and nonmembers as well. Like you said, "Truly in order to be happy we must forget and put behind us things that have happened between us and others." I would just modify what you said a little about forgetting. We can't really forget, just ask someone that has been abused, they can't forget. However, those that forgive, usually get the hurt and turn it into a type of power. Someone that was abused might help others that have also been abused. Someone that was bullied in school might help a bully realize what they are doing, thus helping the the offender. I truly believe when we forgive someone, we love them, we pardon them for the offense. We see that they are a child of God struggling to survive. If we can help those that did us wrong then lets do it, if we can't then we have to continue on and let them work things out on their own, wishing no ill upon them.
After all, we ourselves need constant forgiveness from the Lord. Then why shouldn't we be willing to do the same.
Love you. Keep up the great work.

Thank you, Edward for your thoughts on forgiveness. There are always going to be places in our lives that we have to practice forgiveness. It's taken me awhile for different things that have happened in my own life to forgive, but with time and understanding, we can learn to forgive. I love you!

Keep up the good work Elder Padilla. It sounds like things are good. I like the three lines about forgiveness, apologies, and forgetting. That is good advice.
Love you, hope you have a great weak.

:oD HOW is all of my favorite people doing!?
Before anything else, i will quote my favorite thing i heard in church yesterday. It is called the 8 W rule. It goes simply as this.
"Work Will Win, When Wishy-Washy Wishing WON'T"
Sadly this email will be a little shorter since last week i had pday on thursday and on pdays i usually don't have anything spectacular to talk about.
Wednesday was adventurous since we needed to have the car fixed for a leak that we apparently had. about an hour and a half of studying inside later, it turns out that we have NO such leak! D:< GAAAH! So frustrating to just sit inside doing diddly! After that we had a good time meeting with people around town, as many as we could meet with.
Thursday we had a quick day since we spent a good portion planning and thinking. We discussed about how the mission was doing and how our area in turn was doing. What we needed to do to make it better, and what investigators needed to become closer to christ.
Friday we went to a members birthday party and had fried rice and wings. It was pretty good and honest fun. We played a little bit of Apples to Apples as well, and that was enjoyable. This night we exchanged with the District Leaders and I went to their area for the rest of the next day.
Saturday i was in Spokane 1st, and that was good. We helped a member understand some doctrine and we helped out a few members get ideas for how to do missionary work with their neighbours.
Sunday was amazing. we had PEC so It was only men and the relief society leader with the bishop speaking about how the ward is doing. After church we had a snacking event called the munch and mingle where people stay after third hour eat and just talk to each other. We gave a blessing to our investigator Hugh Fenton and that was good. I think he'll get better he's just changing medications and it's playing mayhem with him and his sleep schedule.
All is doing Great here in spokane(despite me losing my companion after next week. D: he's going home cuz he's so oooooold![mission wise old])
