:D WAHOOOO!

Oh the days the days.

They're growing shorter AND longer. We are able to stay out in sunlight until 830 now which is good because people stay up then. :D YAAY(most of the time. We knocked on a door at 730 and it was clearly light out and a lady came to the door and said "what are you doing out at this time of night?" All I could think was "BWUUUUUH!?")

The day has been good! I've laughed I've shopped, and I've cleaned a car(wishing there was free vacuuming around here...) That's pday!

This past week we started tracting lignite road in our area and have met two people so far that interested in hearing more about the gospel! What a true blessing patience and longsuffering is.(I mean that too because we knocked eight doors before a positive answer was had.   :/   )

We have updated the area book as well as one can and now we have to tract. This week we are receiving on all of our vehicles BLACK boxes! :D YAAAY! you know what that means?  It means we will have to watch out, no more 120 mph runs around corners! (Just kidding, fastest I've gone around a corner is 60. :P not even a blind corner but i should have gone 45 apparently although it was pretty comfortable a turn.)

This transfer President Mullen is leaving and a new mission president will come in, president Dymock. The reign of Mullen is at an end(as some of us joke. :P) WELP I hope all of you can message meh back! Tell me some stories and what you've been doing. I've finished Jesus the christ a third time as well as the new Testament.

:D WEEEE

What more can be saaid!? I'm returning in a week. It's been an exciting, fruitful, hard, rewarding two years. I soon return to you(After a layover in Los Angeles)

I have been studying the full thing of Jesus the christ as well as Psalms. I didn't realize how many prophecies of Christ were in Psalms until this time around, it's really quite amazing! :O I've also found a great verse within psalms 34, verse 3.

COME and let us glorify the Lord together!

magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Isn't this a fantastic charge?

I know that the Lord has helped me throughout these past days and that life is more full with him in my life.

Continue to do good, continue studying the scriptures. Stay classy Arizona.

My day
Today we went to the temple. We drove their with the Ormeshers who are the nicest people around. As we went there my New temple recommend came up as another missionary. Once the temple president saw that my name was signed on it as well as my mission presidents he could tell it was a clerical error so he allowed us into the temple. It was wonderful and spiritual. here is me and my companion leaving the temple!!

After that we went to Golden Corral and I found that cotton candy makes an impressive beard!

more fuzzy animals!

WOWeeee

This past week we met with our mission President as he is about to go home. It's amazing that he is so thorough, meeting with each zone he even came up to Sandpoint and met with us. It was an interesting event and I enjoyed it quite thoroughly.

Well on top of that a missionary has returned from Kirabist island from the Marshall islands. It was quite interesting talking with him. He is quite interesting to talk to and wants to help us out but says there is so much now he has to do. One is taking medicine that is flushing parasites and such out of him which is pretty nasty.
This past week I've been reading the scriptures, a bit of everything right now, Jesus the Christ, BOM and the testaments but it's all been pretty good and well organized. Today I studied the useful of parables in our lords Teaching and why he implied them and taught using them. It was so that the simple doctrines could be understood and taught by any. It was so those people could ponder and speak upon those things.
This next Sunday I am giving a talk. We were at the library and I was typing so I could Print it out. As It hit an hour it's supposed to offer an extension of time. this time around it shut down on me.... DANGIT! A whole hour of typing put to useless!
It was deeply frustrating and aggravating to lose all that but this week I'll be able to make up for that time.
Well I hope all is doing good out there

How is everybody?
:D I had a great day yesterday... if everyone didn't keep saying "short timer eh?" Or "Four weeks left right?" T^T  WHYYYYYYYY!?

Anyways this past week we had a long meeting and a good drive to spokane. On top of that we had a meeting with a member of the seventy. The whole mission was there so I was able to get some last minute contact info with other missionaries.

This past week we met with Sandy and Della who are finally letting missionaries back in and have admitted themselves they need to come back to church. Nothing makes my day like people realizing themselves that they need to return to church. It makes it all the easier to bring them in.

It's going to be in the 85's all this week and everyone s complaining it will be hot. All I can think though is "This will be nothing compared to 120 degrees at home." On top of that I will have to say that this week we will be having possibly the last meeting with the mullens. My mission president is leaving in two weeks and I get to meet the new mission president and have him be my mission president for....two weeks. Not much time at all right? Who knows though, maybe something amazing will change or he will take the mission in a whole new direction.

I hope all of you are doing great!

Elder Padilla, with little time left you can do so much! When I ran that marathon I pushed hard from begining to end, but there was something about the last mile. I was on the 25th mile and I could feel every muscle and bone aching with sharp pain, but when a lady on the side said, "you can do it, only one mile left" I bursted into a full out sprint. I forgot about any pain I felt and finished the last mile in 7 minutes.
Giving my all at the end gave a sense of accomplishment. I felt amazing. In pain, but amazing. Elder, I promise that if you give it your all with only one month left, you will not only feel amazing and accomplished, but the Lord will bless you with a brighter and better future when you return.
Love you. Sigue adelante.
