2015 Mar 2 & 9

SO FAAAST! (Mar 2)

Turn down the hyperspeed scotty! D: This week and transfer is going too fast!(before you say anything yes i have been made fully aware that leonard nimoy passed away this past week)

D: But this week went by like a jet, and when it does that it's difficult for me to remember in depth details about ANYTHING! That and I forgot my planner at home, which is imperative for me to tell in detail descriptions for the week, because i look at what i wrote down and think "OH YEAAAH that's what happened"

Tuesday was good.

Wednesday we exchanged and had a great time with our zone leaders, in the which i got to take over the area for a day. It was pretty fun having another companion but I like my companion too much. We edited our area book down a bit, which is what YSA elders have to do sometimes.

Thursday we went to a lesson that a member had prepared for one of our investigators! It's nice having a member be so ready to teach a lesson and take the reins themselves. I am very happy that this member is so crazed about missionary work though, she's a fireball!

Friday we had district meeting and watched the cheesiest of the church films known as Labor of Love. It's a missionary tradition to watch this film when one of the missionaries is going home. It was soo...80's it was just laughable.

Saturday we had a great day going out and working. In the evening we had a quick lesson in 1 corinthians chapter 13 about charity. I enjoy the bible video that goes with this though, it's very inspiring.

Sunday was good too, fast sunday and it all was wrapped up with a dinner, which was a potluck put on by the members.

And that's all I can remember week wise.

I'm listening right now to the Prince of Egypt soundtrack and have found a really inspiring song, called through heaven's eyes. It simply states how we should be thankful for what we have and what others have. We should all be humbled to know we are amazing and yet know that our brethren are fantastic beings as well.

Humility is something we learn not by thinking less of ourselves, it happens when we think less about ourselves.

WAHOO out agaaain (Mar 9)

SO this Transfer I am going to the area named WEstmin With elder ORCHARD, which I have many mixed feelings about. Crazily enough though all will go alright I believe, since it's in God's hands.

This past week we were ordered to deep clean our apartments AND mvoe out, so due to that we had a lot of time taken up by these actions. Thankfully I was packed up somewhat and didn't have to scramble around much. The transfer will go excellently as I go on.

The area of YSA is being combined with first ward who I know very well. I have all faith in them that they will take care of the area.

Elder Carlile is now home, and I hope that he has an awesome time! :D
