WAHOOOOOLY! What's going on everybody!
SOO the first thing we shall start with is Today is AWESOME! Everything is fantashtick! I am doing well in my new area, sooo many lessons, so much FUN! :D I am enjoying all the time i have and get out here~!
On tuesday i met my new companion ELDER Carlile. He's a pretty cool guy to be around. THIS is his last transfer! D: I know! I already like the guy and he's going to leave me! Pretty sad huh? We went out and met with a few investigators after i got settled into our new place. It's very nice(except apparently the past transfer it was infested with spiders and the guy who was his companion before kept waking up with spider bites on him. EUGH. they're all gone now though thank goodness)
Wednesday(I almost typed wednesdazy XD oooh dear. fo shizzle my nizzle when we go to the marketizzle it's only on wedesdazy dawg. Gotta gets my thrift shizzle on yo![Sanity now kicks in and i realize the joke has outlasted its stay. and now for something completely different]MONTY PYTHON) We had a wonderful morning and we went out to the college to sit at a booth and talk to people. unless we represent a party on the high school campus we can not proselyte so we represented the ldssa(Latter Day Saints Student Association) and went right on truckin'. After that we went out to different parts of our area(we cover everything in the zone since we're YSA) and met with a few people.
Thursday we did weekly planning which was good. Instead of doing the whole week elder carlile prefers to plan nightly so we're doing that now. I don't mind it's shorter and allow me to not have a whole day shot down. We had a dinner at a members house it was us and the whole YSA so it was pretty good!
Friday was pretty good. We had District meeting and then we taught an investigator about the Plan of Salvation. It went pretty well. we were going on splits with a guy but the lesson made us run a little late so he joined us for the lesson. It was actually quite good.
Saturday we went out and worked hard because we knew the next day we had to rest from our labors(also the super bowl was going on so much wasn't going to happen on sunday. :/ everyone watching that darn football game.) We went through the area book working it hard and proper.
SUNDAY was fast and testimony meeting. I was formerly introduced at the stand and in ward council, such a warm meeting and a fuzzy one especially after never going to one in Troy and Potlatch. We enjoyed the testimonies of all in the YSA. they discussed the necessity for dating and marriage which inevitably made me homesick and wonder about home. :/ Reallly though, discussing dating tips and advice and how you can have more dates, IN FRONT of the MISSIONARIES is no bueno(I.E. no good.).
